Met David Naughton, the guy who perfected werewolf transformation in “An American Werewolf In London” today at the San Jose Super Toy & Comic Show. He’s the reason why I grew up with dreams of becoming a lycan.
Back in my early youth, I watched so many horror movies (I still do, love the genre) that I ended up deciding what would be my most favorite sub genre of monsters/creatures… it’s always been werewolves. The Howling, Ginger Snaps, and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”… there’s something about the struggle of the inner beast that intrigues me, as something horrific to overcome, or be consumed by. And, the practical effects of those films vs. the garbage “Twilight” CGI stuff doesn’t compare to how painful this is…
