When I have random stuff to get rid of, and I have no place to donate them, I tend to give them to Karla because she either knows where to give them to the needy, or she finds a way to turn the stuff into art. Recently, I gave some Star Wars comics to her, expecting her to donate to some kids to fight illiteracy but instead, she turned it into a $259 piece-of-art on display at the Palette Gallery in San Francisco. On display until end of Jan 2020, and available for purchase.
