Now that the dust is settling, my site is back up, and as Emperor Palpatine would say,”Witness the power of this fully operational…” rayhomdotcom.
I recently made a move elsewhere, away from the peninsula Bay Area, even though I grew up all my life around there. It’s been a long time coming for a change, and while I settle into my new spot, other things have been happening …
AI Creative Technologist
As I continue to build my online presence (it’s neverending), I am making my tech transition layering AI skills over my identity, as a web developer, and working towards the identity as a Creative Technologist. Yes, it’s an actual title. I have updated my experience and case studies, to reflect that, and you can find my portfolio at rayhom.ai
MEMCast is back
Don’t call it a … well, we are coming back. My buddy Anthony, and I, as you can see in the cover header, have gotten together to record our first reboot episode, of MEMCast, the podcast division of Mind.Erase.Media. You will see an emerging (hopefully mature) evolution, of what was happening, during the 2010s, since my first short film,”Hubris,” where M.E.M continues to be an evolving multimedia company, with now incorporating AI into the workflow. Now, before you cringe, I am a techie, first-half, and a creator, the second-half, which compliments a whole, utilizing what tools I have. Of course, the judgement will be on the final products. So, bear with me (and the rest of my M.E.M crew), as we continue to create. That being said, it won’t be all AI. It will be a mix of whatever tools, including traditional, classical, and digital age stuff. Multimedia. M.E.M.
Vlog and Reels Content Galore
Speaking of AI slop, for a brief moment, I had gained some traction posting Sora AI shorts, on my YouTube. Just silly slapstick skits that was making people giggle and even LOL, at times. Maybe got me gaining a follower or two, but it got the giggles. But, Sora was shut down, wasn’t popular enough, on a mainstream level, by OpenAI, even though Snoop Dogg was a big user. I jumped ship onto Gemini, but I’m more limited to the number of generations. As much fun as I had with Sora, I’m more conscious of what I’m going to generate and create next… stay tuned.

At the end of last May, I went down to Monsterpalooza, again, with Anthoney, Galen, and Highhorse. I still need to edit the vlog, of the event. You can like and subscribe, to my YouTube, to be notified when it gets posted. Otherwise, I was catching up on a lot of footage, to edit, and post. A few that goes back, about a year. It’s a #TooMuchContent moment. But, I won’t bombard you, as you can find what those content are, on my YouTube and IG. Please follow me there. But just to give you some highlights, start with Halloween Horror Nights 2025 … and after:
- Follow Nicci into the Terrifer maze HHN 2025
- Met the trio who are known as Franklin, Michael, and Trevor of GTA5 fame
- Camille Keaton from the infamous “I Spit on Your Grave” manhandled me at Sinister Creature Con 2025
- Stuntman/Actor Eric Jacobus gave me a tour of his stunt studio in Vegas
- Joe Lam, director of The Fetus, had me take a pic with him, because we had matching jackets
- On the heels of starting work, on Spawn projects, for Todd McFarlane, I caught Don Aguillo to design me a custom cover, of a cross between Transformers and Aliens, dialogue is mine, but the blank Transformers cover was signed by Daniel Warren Johnson (before either got too famous)
- Dela Longfish sketched me a Boba Fett, in my sketchbook. Him and Lucas was working on the concepts for the Star Wars 1313 (apparently starring Boba) project, but was canceled by the time Disney bought LucasFilm
- Osgood Perkins signed me a limited Monkey, from his Stephen King based film
- I asked Noah Hawley,”Alien or Aliens?”
- My good friend, Nathan B., is a descendant of Nathaniel Hawthorne, and he signed me a couple of his books
- I rambled Damien Leone’s ear off, as he signed a print photo, that was also previously also signed by Catherine Corcoran and David Howard Thornton, of Terrifier fame
- My good entrepreneur buddy, Paul Andre Devera, SEO Master, had taken over management of the Quickly in Benecia where, not only do they serve boba, but have lumpia eating contests and car shows
- Fellow M.E.M crew member, Bo, have a dance-off, at Sharyn Maceren’s Freestyle at the Park event
- Face Off contestant Margaret Caragan gave me and Bo a tour of her studio, Pandora FX
Okay, sorry, I lied. I bombarded you, and some of this stuff was before HHN 2025. It could have been worse, as I have more to ramble about… brace yourself, and stay tuned. But, I will leave you with this latest one … I had met Nancy Kwan.
NerdCulture: The Plant People by Dale Carlson
I remember borrowing “The Plant People”, as a kid, from the library, thinking it was based on a movie because the photography is of cinematic quality…

…but, after decades, of having rediscovered the book, from a used thrift store, I learned it’s just a YA novel, with images of people turning into cactus that psychologically been haunting me since my youth.

I’ll be back, in less than six months.
