So, I’m going to attempt to post every week, aiming for every Sunday evening, starting today (although, I’m already a day late). The usual stuff. Tech. Travel. NerdCulture. In blog form here. I have been busy focused on making rayhom.ai, more a thing. See below.
Happy super belated July 4th, 250 (and, one week, now) years of the U.S. of A.!
Growing Up Movies posted my 4th of July pic, that I GenAIed with Photoshop Firefly. The big headed Predator float, is a funny unexpected touch. You can find the post on IG, YouTube, and GUM’s Facebook. Go straight here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DaYgwqmh9uK
Happy Birthday, USA! It’s a perfect day for a lil’ pop culture nostalgia. Have fun and be safe out there, everyone! Image credit to my friend, Ray Hom @rayhomdotcom. #robocop #predatormovie #aliensmovie #1980snostalgia

Growing Up Movies is working on a show, and a podcast series, which I may be appearing sometimes in the fall. Follow them for updates!
My AI Services
So, after having experiencing my continued evolution from web development, and into the AI sphere, I have opened my services to create and build short AI videos for intros. I will continue to make short films, as well, so watch this place for announcements in upcoming AI film festivals, or just film festivals, in general, and related projects. Although, some films will be full AI, long term approach will be mixed media. My AI use (like how digital sfx and CGI has become) will be more focused on settings and sfx in post-production. In the meantime, you can find my services here: rayhom.ai/services
In the meantime, continue to watch my avatar doing ridiculous things:
Tech.
Yesterday, I had attend the Pistahan event, at the Yerba Buena Center in downtown San Francisco. It was mainly to check out my good buddy, and SEO Master, Paul Andre Devera speak on the panel about “Demystifying AI”. The part where the panel was asked what is their biggest fear about AI, and Dre said,”I’m afraid of getting an AI girlfriend” cracked me up. You can see highlights clip of what he was talking about, here on IG: https://www.instagram.com/p/Db2FsknPAG_/

NerdCulture.
No San Diego Comic-Con, this year. After 13 years, straight, of attending the event, I bowed out this year. I broke my streak. For good reasons, I feel. It was a good run, and I’ll eventually, will be back, prob next year. But, there are other priorities, as mentioned.
But, my actor buddy and Comic-Con partner-in-crime, Jason Michael Fong, had picked up a Yesterdays “Faces of Death” pin, for me. I’m not a big pin fan, but I will always remember “Faces of Death”. And, I tell my mini nostalgia story below, on IG. Click on image to see.

Hopefully, I will be back here, next Sunday!
